Rachel Houghton has been appointed Managing Director of Business Moves Group, which some sources recognise as Britain’s 3rd largest business relocation company.
In this male dominated environment Rachel believes that although her style of leadership varies to bring out the best in people she is sure her approach to leadership will add value to the service BMG provides its clients.
Rachel began with the BMG Birmingham office 10 years ago in telesales and progressed through the company in various sales, operation and branch management roles. She has been involved with the strategic direction of the company for more than five years as a member of the management team and two years ago, was appointed Commercial Director. Her promotion to Managing Director is due to her proven strengths in strategic planning, sales and general management experience.
Although it is sometime since Rachel was involved in telesales, where she started out with BMG, she says she still enjoys the buzz of business development when opportunities present themselves.
